details.We have a special January Pack Meeting in store. Get geared up for a
Box Car Drive-in Movie night on Monday, January 30th. Please note that this
meeting will start early at 6:00 PM. Scouts, be working on your cardboard cars
for the drive-in movie!

WANT TO FIND OUT ABOUT CUB SCOUTS? Come join us at a special information and sign-up meeting for Pack 928 at Marvin Elementary. Our "Roundup" meeting is Tuesday, October 11th at 6:30pm. Boys and their parents are welcome to attend to see what Cub Scouts are all about. If your son is in 1st through 5th grade and you live in area, regardless of what school he attends, you can join us. Come by and check us out!

September Pack Meeting

The first Pack Meeting of the school year is scheduled for Monday, September 26th, at 6:30pm in the auditorium at Marvin Elementary. Join us as we recognize our Scouts for their summer achievements and then welcome everyone back with an Ice Cream Social.
Visitors and families considering Scouting are welcome!

Raingutter Regatta

CUB SCOUT PACK 928 - RAINGUTTER REGATTA - Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 3:00pm. Join us at the Allied Gardens Community Park on the Shuffleboard Courts for an afternoon of fun boat racing! Scouts can pick up a boat kit at the Scout Shop. Families can bring snacks to share and your own drinks.
This is one of the three summertime events that qualify for the National Summertime Pack Award.

Fishing and Biking at Lake Murray

JOIN CUB SCOUT PACK 928 FOR OUR JUNE PACK EVENT this Saturday (6/18) at 4:00pm at Lake Murray. We will meet in the picnic area close to the docks. No fishing permit is required for youth age 7 and under and a fishing permit ($2.50) can be purchased on site for youth age 8 and up. Scouts must bring their own fishing gear. Families can bring their own snacks and drinks. After fishing, scouts will bike around Lake Murray. Scouts must bring their own bike, helmet, and close toed shoes.
Remember - your Scout is eligible for the National Summertime Award if he attends all 3 summertime Pack events!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR SCOUTS IN PACK 928! You have finished up a great year in Scouting and crossed over to your next level on the great Scouting Trail. A special Congratulations to our Webelos II Scouts who crossed over to Boy Scouts! Best wishes in your new Troop!
Now that we are heading into summer, there will still be cool Cub Scout stuff to do. Stay tuned for fun Summertime events to participate in. You can even qualify for the National Summertime Award if you participate in one Pack event for each of the 3 months - June, July, and August.

May - SpringFest, Arrow of Light, and Crossover

JOIN PACK 928 AT THE SPRINGFEST PARADE at Allied Gardens Park on Saturday, May 14th. Meet at 10:00 am and the parade kicks off at 10:30.

Our Arrow of Light Ceremony for the Webelos II Scouts will be help at the May Pack Meeting on Monday the 23rd. Join us as we celebrate our Scouts in reaching the highest award in Cub Scouting! All of our Scouts will be crossing over at the Pack Meeting in a special Crossover Ceremony. Congratualtions to all of the wonderful Scouts in Pack 928 for all their hard work and great efforts over the year! Way to go!

April - Scout Fair, San Diego 500

APRIL - TIME FOR THE SCOUT FAIR & SAN DIEGO 500. Pack 928 runs the Map & Compass Belt Loop Booth at the Scout Fair. We help lots of Scouts earn their Belt Loop. Our Pack Pinewood Derby winner Charles finished 2nd place for the Mission District in the San Diego 500. Congratulations Charles! Way to go!
Join us at our Pack Meeting on Monday, April 25th, 6:30 pm at the Marvin school auditorium.

Get Ready to Race!

MARCH IS PINEWOOD DERBY TIME FOR CUB SCOUT PACK 928! Scouts, get your Pinewood Derby Cars ready! We're holding a practice session on Saturday, March 12th at noon. You can test and fine-tune your cars. Be ready to race them on Saturday, March 19th at noon. Both practice and race will be on the shuffle board courts at the Allied Gardens Park. Our monthly Pack Meeting is Monday, March 28th, 6:30pm in the auditorium at Marvin Elementary. Check us out and join us for an evening of fun!
