PACK 928's BLUE & GOLD Banquet on Monday, February 23, 2009 was a huge success. The Cub Scouts and their families and friends enjoyed some great food and entertainment at Marvin Elementary. Thank you to all who helped out Friends of Scouting. A big Thank You to everyone who helped make our Blue & Gold great!
All the kids, big and small, had a blast enjoying our entertainment from Judy Taylor and her Wild West show. The music, trick-roping, gun spinning, and bull whips were fantastic!
The ceremonies from Den 5 and Den 8 reminded us all of the true spirit and history of scouting. Excellent performance scouts!
And, what fun would a Pack event like the Blue & Gold be without some awards? Prizes and commissions for Popcorn Sales were presented to the scouts who participated in our major fundraiser of the year. Great work scouts!

February - "Blue & Gold"
WE CELEBRATE THE BIRTHDAY OF SCOUTING in February with our annual "Blue & Gold" Banquet. Boy Scouts of America turns 99 this year! Yes, 2010 marks 100 years of BSA! Cub Scouts turn 79 this year. Cub Scouting was formally launched in 1930.Come celebrate with Pack 928 at our Blue & Gold Banquet on February 23rd at the Marvin Elementary School auditorium from 6 to 8 pm. We will have great food and great entertainment.
